On the evening of Wednesday 15th August a drought information session will be hosted at the Quirindi Rugby Club for all local producers in Quirindi and the surrounding area.
Although this event is support by Pursehouse Rural we would like to reiterate that this is a community event which welcomes all primary producers in our area.
The Drought Information Evening will welcome a number of guest speakers to discuss how to tackle the dry conditions and the financial implications for producers.
Speakers include; Sarah Green from the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program at HNE Health, Sarah Goulden from the Rural Financial Counselling Service and Jackie Barker from Local Land Services.
The evening will focus on informing producers on what they are entitled to and the best avenues for claiming appropriate drought subsidies. Each speaker will be on hand after the event to take any follow up questions and queries you have about the financial aid available to you as well as any other queries surrounding drought support.
Drinks and dinner are provided and will follow the key talks named above. The evening will commence at 5.30pm and run through until 9pm.
Please R.S.V.P to Phoebe Smith on 02 6741 2522 or 0427 461 633, by Monday 13th August, for catering purposes. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact Phoebe or any member of the team at Pursehouse Rural Quirindi.
